AMM International is proud to present this exceptionally rare 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GSR, the original HKS/Advan demo car, a one-of-two builds crafted by RSK Racing Service Koshimizu in Japan and tuned by the legendary Y. Shiraishi. Imported into the UK in 2006, this Evo has covered just 1,000 km on UK roads, with a total of 28,000 verified miles from new
Originally built as a demonstration car for HKS and Advan, this Evo VII spent much of its life as a showpiece for Sumopower, appearing at occasional RMA track days and the Gumball 3000 rally, while being carefully stored in dry conditions for the remainder of its life. Its provenance, rare parts, and meticulous craftsmanship make it a true collector’s item, combining motorsport pedigree with road-going usability.
Powered by a fully RSK-prepared 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, this Evo VII produces 503 BHP as mapped by Dynotech UK. It features an HKS GT37R turbo with custom titanium RSK manifold, HKS fuel rail with ID 1050cc injectors, full RSK titanium exhaust, XL Greddy intercooler with titanium pipework, and HKS induction kit. The car is equipped with an HKS twin-plate clutch and has received regular specialist maintenance, including a recent cambelt service.
The drivetrain is highlighted by a 5-speed RS gearbox with Ikeya Formula sequential shifter, Cusco front and rear differentials, functional ACD, and RS transfer box, while the suspension comprises HKS Hypermax 3-way adjustable units with camber top mounts. Braking and wheel duties are handled by Michelin-shod A-Tech Final Speed forged monoblock alloys finished in bronze.
Externally, the Evo retains its original HKS/Advan livery with black and red accents, complemented by rare Varis dry carbon bonnet, genuine Ralliart carbon side mirrors, lightweight carbon front wings, and full Auto produce carbon rear spoiler blade. Inside, it features a Recaro 070-91 driver’s seat and Momo Alcantara steering wheel, with all trim preserved in excellent condition.
This Evo VII GSR is supplied with two keys, a comprehensive history file, import documentation, and its cherished UK registration, V11 EVD. Its combination of authentic Japanese motorsport provenance, race-prepared engineering, and minimal road use makes it a standout collector’s car.
A genuine HKS/Advan demo Evo VII represents a unique opportunity to acquire a rare piece of JDM history. Presented in excellent overall condition ready for immediate enjoyment, display, or further collection.
