Tungsten Silver over Obsidian Black Monotone Leather – 4.3 Manual – 1 Previous Owner – 22,005 Miles – Collector-Grade Example

Originally Registered: 1st September 2007

Mileage: 22,005 Miles

AMM International is proud to present this outstanding 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster 4.3 Manual, finished in Tungsten Silver (AST1262D) over Obsidian Black Monotone leather with Graphite interior finish. Originally supplied new by Aston Martin Edinburgh and remaining within the Aston Martin main dealer ecosystem for the majority of its life, this car represents a rare opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, unmodified, preserved manual V8 Vantage Roadster with complete provenance and exceptional condition.

The early 4.3 manual Vantage is widely regarded as the purest expression of the VH-platform cars, analogue, compact and mechanically engaging. As early VH-platform cars gain recognition for their analogue character, correct low-mileage examples such as this are increasingly sought after by informed buyers. This late-2007 example benefits from later production refinements and careful long-term custodianship, elevating it firmly into collector-grade territory.

Originally registered on 1st September 2007, the car has covered just 22,005 miles from new and has had 1 previous owner (2 in total). It was purchased again through Aston Martin Edinburgh in December 2017 with a full Aston Martin warranty, reinforcing its continuity within the supplying dealer network.

The car has passed every MOT throughout its life with zero advisories and has consistently been MOT’d by Aston Martin. It is HPI clear, accident-free and confirmed as a matching numbers example. All VIN stickers are present and consistent across panels, with factory panel fit confirmed throughout. All glass retains its original Aston Martin markings. It retains its original Aston Martin Edinburgh supplying dealer plates, a small but highly desirable detail that reinforces authenticity and provenance.

Privately owned as part of a small enthusiast collection rather than used as primary transport, the car has always been garaged, never driven in poor weather and never used in winter road salt conditions. It has remained pet-free and smoke-free throughout its life. The original owner even stored the vehicle at Aston Martin Edinburgh during winter periods. It was kept within the company of significant performance cars, including a Ferrari F12, 458 Speciale and several classic automobiles, a reflection of the calibre of collection it belonged to.

Mechanically, the car performs exactly as a genuine 22,005-mile example should. Cold starts are immediate with no untoward noises, no smoke and no warning lights. The original clutch operation is smooth and progressive with the correct bite point, no slip under load and no drivetrain vibration. Braking performance is strong and consistent. Clutch health has been confirmed as excellent. The engine bay presents honestly and correctly, retaining its original crackle-finish cam covers and factory configuration.

This is a matching numbers car retaining original engine and factory specification throughout. Over nine years of ownership, it has required only routine servicing and rear brake pads, alongside four brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres.

On the road, the 4.3 manual delivers the analogue driving feel that later cars began to dilute, precise steering, mechanical feedback and a naturally aspirated V8 character that remains one of Aston Martin’s most engaging modern-era experiences. This example drives tightly, smoothly and exactly as it should, with no unwanted noises or mechanical hesitation.

The chassis and underside condition are particularly noteworthy. The underside is clean, free from corrosion, free from winter salt exposure and with no oxidised suspension arms, a major factor on early Vantage Roadsters and rarely found at this level.

The optional 19-inch wheels with Tyre Pressure Monitoring are unmarked with no kerbing, and the factory grey brake calipers present superbly.

Visually, the Tungsten Silver paintwork is entirely original and has been professionally depth gauged across all panels, confirming consistent readings and no evidence of accident repair or repainting. The finish retains excellent depth and gloss. Panel fit is correct and factory-consistent throughout. As expected for a carefully used 22,005-mile example, there are minor age-related stone chips to the front bonnet consistent with mileage and use, nothing excessive or beyond what would be considered entirely normal.

Inside, the Obsidian Black Monotone leather interior with Graphite finish is beautifully preserved. The seats show virtually no wear, bolsters remain defined, and commonly problematic areas such as buttons and switchgear are clean with no sticky surfaces. The Gun Metal facia with Satellite Navigation, Phantom Grey carpets and factory trim all remain in superb condition. The cabin is entirely consistent with low mileage and careful ownership.

The black convertible roof operates correctly with no hesitation, no creasing damage and a clear rear screen. The mechanism functions exactly as intended.

Factory specification includes manual transmission, optional 19-inch wheels with Tyre Pressure Monitoring, Satellite Navigation, Bluetooth (UK English), Graphite interior finish, Gun Metal facia, powerfold mirrors, HID headlamps with wash and levelling, rear parking distance sensors, UK Cat 5 tracking device (NavTrak fitted), bright window surrounds, standard suspension and full UK specification. The complete Aston Martin factory build sheet is on file confirming original configuration.

Servicing has been carried out annually regardless of mileage. The car benefits from full Aston Martin main dealer service history through to 2022, followed by maintenance with highly regarded Aston Martin specialists thereafter ensuring continuity of expert care and preventative ownership throughout its life.

Supplied new by Aston Martin Edinburgh, the car retains its original bill of sale showing a purchase price close to £100,000 when new, along with its complete Aston Martin leather handbook pack, stamped service book and detailed supporting documentation.

The sale includes: Original bill of sale, leather handbook pack, full stamped service book, comprehensive history file, two original keys with alarm fobs, custom indoor Aston Martin Vantage cover, factory build sheet and active NavTrak tracking system.

MOT valid until 3rd September 2026.

Early 4.3 manual Roadsters in this ownership and condition bracket are becoming increasingly scarce. Most now present with higher mileage, multiple owners, mixed MOT histories or cosmetic deterioration. This example avoids all of that.

Now showing 22,005 miles, this car sits firmly within the upper percentile of surviving early manual Roadsters.

This is an unmodified, factory-correct example retaining original panels, finishes and specification, presents fabulously, dealer-maintained and increasingly difficult to source in this condition.
