Description

AMM International is proud to present this exceptionally well-maintained Audi RS4 B7 Avant, a modern performance icon and one of the most highly regarded fast estates of its era. Finished in the timeless and highly desirable Daytona Grey metallic, this RS4 combines Audi’s legendary naturally aspirated V8 performance with everyday usability and an outstanding enthusiast-led specification.

Powered by the acclaimed 4.2-litre FSI V8, producing 420 PS and paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive, the RS4 B7 represents the final chapter of Audi’s high-revving, naturally aspirated RS models. Increasingly recognised as a future modern classic, the B7 RS4 is celebrated for its characterful engine, muscular design, and analogue driving experience that is rarely found in modern performance cars.

This example is a 2007 model year car, registered RS54 TWS, and has covered 110,241 miles. The private registration RS54 TWS is included with the vehicle. While the car has had nine former keepers, it stands apart due to the extensive level of maintenance and specialist work it has benefitted from, particularly during long-term ownership since 2019. It is clear from both discussion with the previous owner and the comprehensive history file that the car has been maintained proactively and without compromise, ensuring it drives exactly as a properly sorted RS4 should.

Supplied new by Newcastle Audi, the car is accompanied by a detailed and well-organised history file including service records, supporting invoices, a dyno printout confirming 420. 3 BHP, and two keys, providing strong provenance for an enthusiast-owned RS4. Significant recent expenditure has addressed many of the well-known RS4 ownership considerations, making this a confidence-inspiring example.

Mechanically, the RS4 has benefitted from a carbon clean and MRC Stage 2 ECU upgrade, carried out by renowned Audi specialists, enhancing throttle response and mid-range performance while retaining factory drivability. The car is fitted with Miltek front decat downpipes, paired with the factory Audi RS4 sports exhaust system, delivering a more engaging and characterful V8 soundtrack without excessive volume or compromise. Importantly, the original catalytic converters are included with the vehicle for MOT purposes.

Further major maintenance includes a clutch and dual-mass flywheel replacement less than 2,000 miles ago, providing valuable reassurance to the next owner. The rear subframe has been removed, sand-blasted and powder-coated, with all rear bushes replaced, rear arms renewed, and all fixings zinc-coated. At the same time, the rear brake pipes were replaced with genuine Audi items, alongside new braided brake hoses, reflecting an exceptional level of care rarely seen at this mileage.

The braking system has also been addressed, with front brake discs and pads replaced approximately 9,000 miles ago, and the car now sits on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres all round, each with ample tread remaining. An auxiliary radiator replacement invoice is present in the history file, carried out prior to current ownership, addressing a known RS4 B7 maintenance point. Additionally, all transmission oils were renewed in 2023, including gearbox and differentials, and the car was most recently serviced in October 2025, meaning it is fully up to date with no immediate requirements.

Importantly, the car retains its factory Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) suspension system, which is fully intact and operating correctly, with no leaks, knocks, or unwanted noises. The suspension has also benefitted from new shock absorbers and coil springs, ensuring the RS4 rides and handles exactly as intended.

Externally, the Daytona Grey paintwork presents very well, retaining strong depth and gloss throughout. The car was professionally ceramic coated approximately two years ago, with a five-year lifespan coating, providing enhanced paint protection and gloss retention. It is specified with the desirable factory Black Optics Pack, giving black exterior trim and grille detailing that enhances the RS4’s aggressive and understated appearance. It sits on the correct factory 19-inch RS double-spoke alloy wheels in silver finish and is equipped with factory Bi-Xenon headlights, which remain clear and in excellent condition. Subtle exterior enhancements include carbon side skirts, a carbon rear diffuser, and a front splitter, all of which complement the RS4’s muscular factory styling without detracting from its original character.

There are a few minor age-related marks, including a small windscreen chip, a minor chip on the roof edge, and light stone chipping to the bonnet, all entirely consistent with the car’s age and mileage and reflective of an honest, unmolested example.

The interior is a particular highlight and reflects a strong factory specification. It features the highly desirable RS wingback (bucket) seats, which are electrically adjustable and heated, showing minimal wear, along with the rear cabin pack with heated rear seats. The cabin is completed by a flat-bottom Alcantara-trimmed RS steering wheel, carbon interior inlays, RS aluminium pedals, and factory Audi RNS-E satellite navigation. Comfort and convenience features include dual-zone climate control, factory cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, Bose premium sound system, and an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror. The cabin is smoke-free, presents very well throughout, and all electronics and systems operate as they should.

Under the bonnet, the engine bay is clean and correctly presented, reflecting careful ownership rather than cosmetic over-preparation. The V8 performs exactly as intended, delivering a thrilling naturally aspirated soundtrack and a driving experience that has become increasingly rare in modern performance cars.

The car is HPI clear and accident-free, benefits from an MOT valid until 9th March 2026, and represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a properly maintained, high-spec example of Audi’s iconic V8 super-estate. With extensive recent expenditure, desirable factory options, reputable specialist involvement, long-term ownership since 2019, and added paint protection, it offers a compelling blend of performance, usability, and long-term appeal.

A genuine, enthusiast-owned example of one of Audi’s greatest RS models, this Audi RS4 B7 Avant stands as a fitting tribute to an era of high-revving, naturally aspirated performance that is unlikely to be repeated.
