Description
AMM International presents this well-maintained 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, finished in Scotia White and imported to the UK in 2008 as a Grade 5 vehicle. With 76,381 miles and a documented history of careful enthusiast ownership, this Evo IX has been tastefully upgraded with quality Japanese performance parts while remaining mechanically strong and cosmetically clean throughout.
Originally supplied in Japan, the car arrived in the UK in exceptionally tidy condition for its age and type, and since then has been kept by five UK owners who have continued to maintain it to a high standard. Today, it represents a solid, well-sorted Evo IX with sensible upgrades, a clean HPI report, accident-free provenance, and an MOT valid until 23rd May 2026.
Powered by Mitsubishi’s 4G63 turbocharged engine, this example produces 400 bhp / 400 Nm, supported by switchable high- and low-boost maps. The setup includes HKS induction components, a Greddy front-mounted intercooler with pipework, a tubular equal-length manifold, and a full stainless-steel exhaust system. An RTS Performance three-piece clutch and lightweight flywheel ensure precise power delivery.
The chassis benefits from HSD adjustable coilovers, a Cusco front member power brace, and an aftermarket rear boot brace, giving the car a more connected and controlled feel without compromising everyday drivability. Braking performance has been refreshed with rebuilt gunmetal Brembo calipers, grooved discs, and near-new matching Continental tyres. Bronze BOLA B2R alloys present in excellent condition and complement the car well. The car is also fitted with Ralliart mudflaps, enhancing both appearance and protection.
Cosmetically, the exterior presents clean and tidy, with paintwork that shows well and no dents. Carbon additions including the front splitter, vortex generator, side skirt extensions, and rear bumper extensions give the car a subtle motorsport look. The underside is in notably clean condition, reflecting its careful use and storage.
Inside, the cabin remains largely original apart from a few minor upgrades such as additional gauges, a Bluetooth head unit, and improved speakers. The factory seats, steering wheel, carpets, and trim are all in very good condition for the age, and the cabin has been kept smoke-free and clean.
Mechanically, the car drives extremely well. The engine pulls strongly with no hesitation, the turbo spools cleanly, and the AYC system operates exactly as it should. A recent service, including an oil change just a few hundred miles ago, ensures the car is running smoothly. The 6 speed gearbox shifts correctly, temperatures remain stable, and no warning lights or running issues are present.
The car comes with a full history file, dyno sheet, invoice documentation, and one original key. It is fully HPI clear, with no previous accident history.
With its strong mechanical condition, tasteful upgrades, clean presentation, and genuine Grade 5 Japan import background, this Evo IX offers an honest and well-sorted example of Mitsubishi’s final-era rally platform suitable for both enthusiasts and collectors seeking a usable, nicely balanced car.
