AMM International is proud to present this exceptional early-production 2000 Porsche 911 Turbo (996), a rare and highly desirable UK-supplied example with outstanding provenance. Originally delivered new by Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield as their official demonstrator vehicle, this Turbo represents one of the earliest UK cars and showcases the model in its purest, most original form.
Finished in timeless Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black Full Leather interior with Alcantara headlining, this 996 Turbo is powered by the legendary 3.6-litre Mezger twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. Derived directly from Porsche’s motorsport programme, the Mezger unit is revered for its durability, performance, and mechanical integrity, and remains one of the defining reasons the 996 Turbo has become such a respected modern classic.
This example has been cherished by just two owners from new, with the current custodian having owned the car since 2003. It has always been garage-kept and has never been tracked, modified, or subjected to abuse. Importantly, it retains the early pre-facelift interior configuration, including the rare dashboard layout without a glovebox, further underlining its early production status and demonstrator significance.
Mechanically, the car has been maintained to a very high standard, supported by a fully documented service history. Notable work includes the replacement of both turbochargers, new brake discs, and OEM-refinished brake calipers. The Tiptronic S transmission was replaced under Porsche warranty in 2004, ensuring smooth, dependable performance. On the road, the car delivers strong, linear boost and effortless pace, combining supercar performance with refinement and everyday usability.
The exterior presents superbly, with original Arctic Silver Metallic paintwork retaining excellent depth and consistency, showing only minimal, age-appropriate marks. The wing mirrors have been refinished, while all other panels remain original. The underside has been wax-oiled and is exceptionally clean and well preserved, reflecting careful long-term ownership. Sitting on factory 18-inch Porsche Turbo Twist alloy wheels in excellent condition, the car is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres to all four corners.
Inside, the Black Full Leather cabin is complemented by an Alcantara roof lining and displays only light, honest patina consistent with mature, enthusiast ownership. All interior systems and electronics operate correctly, and the car is supplied with three original Porsche keys, full book packs, and a stamped service record. A factory tracker system is also fitted and can be reactivated by subscription. The car retains its original X-plate registration; the private registration “E1 KBD” is not included in the sale.
The factory specification is extensive and well chosen, including heated sports seats, cruise control, electric sunroof, top-tinted windscreen, aluminium interior detailing, PCM navigation, on-board computer, CD autochanger, GSM telephone module, Nokia DSP sound system, Tiptronic S gearbox with steering wheel controls, and headlamp washers.
This is far more than just a Porsche 996 Turbo. It is a collector-grade, early-production UK example with demonstrator provenance, minimal ownership, and the all-important Mezger engine, presented in highly original condition.
